Details
Measurements : 70 cm x 40 cm x 1.5 cm.
Materials : Coconut fiber and non-slip base.
The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Discoloration may occur for various reasons, such as continuous use or exposure to sun or rain, so to keep them in perfect condition, avoid exposing them to these elements.
The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue; because of this, not all fibers are equally attached, and at the beginning of use it is completely normal for some fibers to come loose.
To clean, dry clean only. Use a brush; do not use water or put it in the washing machine.
Each doormat is made from the husks of approximately 25 coconuts. First, the husks are “seasoned” in the coastal lagoons where they are harvested, and then they are hand-beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. A traditional outdoor sun-drying technique is then used to set the paint on the doormat’s surface. Finally, a non-slip backing is added, which keeps the doormat firmly in place and reduces the risk of slipping.
